Applications: Decomate II

The following information is very out of date: it is taken more or less verbatim from Appendix D of version 0.3b of the profile, which dates back to July 1999.

Decomate II implements several thesauri in the field of economics and combines them. At the front end is a graphical user interface (in Tcl and in Java) that allows the user to navigate through the concept space and mark terms as relevant or irrelevant; these marked terms are used for generating a query that is broadcasted to relevant databases.
